Pink Himalayan Salt Body Scrub

Benefits:

Using a body scrub or ‘salt glow’ in hydrotherapy terms is an easy daily ritual that can do wonders for improving your health.

Other than the obvious benefit of gentle exfoliation to aid the removal of dead skin cells, using a salt scrub can stimulate many internal changes to promote glowing skin daily.  Salt scrubs stimulate blood flow and circulation to the skin. This can be great for people with chronic skin conditions that co-occur with inactive skin such as poor circulation and dryness.

This recipe also contains natural oils that nurture and moisturise the skin from the outside too.

Salt Scrubs gently massage the skin and stimulates the lymphatic system.

The Lymphatic System is a complex system made up of organs and lymphatic vessels that lie underneath the skin.

The lymphatic system is part of the immune system and plays many important roles in the body.

This is where immune cells are produced, lymph transfers white blood cells throughout the body which are essential in fighting off unwanted pathogens. The lymphatic system plays a role in maintaining fluid balance and the removal of excess fluids from body tissues, this includes cellular waste and toxins. Not only does lymph remove waste products but also replenishes tissues with required nutrients. Fatty acids are absorbed into the lymphatic system which are essential for many body functions including skin health and moisture.
